Whether you are in school or not, female or male, younger or older, livings alone or with the folks; don’t let anyone make you their victim! There is too much craziness in this world and there are too many criminally minded people out there. You need to carry some sort of self defense items to use in case you ever have to defend yourself. Hopefully no one will ever bother you, but if they do, it is good to be prepared! We live in a time when you hear all kinds of sad stories on the news. It would be nice to hear a few stories that have a better ending because the person who almost got attacked ended up pulling out a pepper spray and stopped the thug in his tracks! (more…)

Here in the early part of the 21st century, most people are aware that the world has become a place that is not nearly as safe as it used to be years ago. There are too many stories in the news of crimes and attacks on folks, and it is sad, but it is the reality of the situation. Whether you live in a big city or even in a smaller town, you never know when someone can pop out of the bushes and want to rob or harm you!
As long as you are an adult, and live in one of the many places where these are permitted, you should carry a stun device. Some of these stun guns are disguised to look like a cell phone or some other common object. There are really cool ones that look like a flashlight and also have a powerful LED flashlight function.

We have all heard about stun guns, which aren’t actually guns, they look more like a garage door opener, they run on batteries, and when you push the button, and touch the item to another person, you give him a huge shock! The shock will actually cause the guy to drop to the ground, and be disabled for a little while, giving you time to get away to safety. They are only to be used for self defense purposes, and are legal in most of the 50 United States.
Rather than carry a small, stun gun, it might be better to have a telescopic stun baton. I have seen one that is massive, magnificent, and certainly manages to “do the job!” It is about 13 or 14 inches long when it is collapsed, but when you press a button, it telescopes out to about 22 or 23 inches, and then when you push another button, the whole baton portion crackles with 800,000 volts of power! I will bet that someone can pee their pants from just seeing it, let alone getting zapped by it!

When common, decent people get attacked by kids in high school, or other street toughs, sometimes it is better to fight back, rather than just give them your money. Maybe they only have a small knife or a stick, and they don’t expect that you will pull a stun baton out of your briefcase or pocket book! Yes, that’s right! A stun baton is an item that looks like a cop’s billy club and it is a battery operated device that will give a huge electrical shock to the unfortunate punk who tries to rob you.
There are even telescopic stun batons, that when you press a button, they extend to a longer length, even as much as 20 inches or so, then when you press the other button, they will crackle with between 500,000 volts and a million volts, depending on the make and model! Imagine the surprise to an unsuspecting thug who thinks that you are going to simply hand over your purse or wallet, but instead you stun the snot out of him!? Maybe there will be some onlookers that will applaud as this little piece of dog doo falls to the ground, writhing in pain and agony after getting shocked with all of that voltage!

Mary S. regularly walked in the evening alone in her Billings, Montana neighborhood. She had realized gradually that she was becoming uneasy with approaching strangers, especially if they were in groups of two or more. Nothing had yet happened but she couldn’t shake the feeling.
So Mary bought a Stun Master SM-300SB stun baton. She carried this 300,000 volt stun gun in the included belt holster. Nothing untoward happened until six weeks later. Two male teenagers passed by. Soon she realized that they had turned around and were following her. She then heard taunts, “Hey baby, what-cha doin?” and so forth. Mary felt her heart pound against her chest. What to do? As the taunts escalated she made a decision. She turned around, quickly saw no draw weapons, put her hand on the holster and said, “Stop right there. I have a weapon. Scram!” And, lo and behold, they did. They thought for moment, turned around and quickly walked away. Mary repelled her attackers without even removing the stun baton from its holster.
